When Nature dreams of Spring.

Yesterday we found . . . . drifts of Snowdrops in the Rococo gardens. . . . .
and crocus by the church at Painswick in Gloucestershire.

It seems that nature really is dreaming of Spring.

Oh my! Those snowdrops!! I have to visit Painswick this coming weekend! I haven't been there for a long time and judging by the beauty of those snowdrops a trip is long overdue. Thank you for such lovely photos. Have a sunshiney week.

Aren't they gorgeous. I meant to go out with the camera yesterday but have come down with a cold instead. Another sign of changing seasons!

How beautiful and delightful! We are still under a layer of ice here so these photos are a huge boost to the morale!

If I only had one little clump of snowdrops in my garden I would be etatic! They are unavailable in Austalia, and I miss them so.
I have never seen a whole drift of them anywhere before.
Thank you for posting them.
I have seen whole hillsides of white crocus in Austria though.

Doesn't it make your heart glow?

What lovely images of springtime - the Rococo Gardens are a special place aren't they? That carpet of crocus is stunning too. It is lovely to see these delightful little flowers on a grand scale that we just can't manage in an ordinary garden.
